The Dream Catcher Spins…A Love Story

Many moons ago, a story was written here on the G.A.B. about Chief Thumper, Princess Water Lily and The Dream Catcher. You also read recently that Princess Water Lily left Chief Thumper, The Hoop House and The Dream Catcher when she departed her life here and went into The Spirit World, a world the Native Americans called the “after life”. In that story entitled “The Adventure of Princess Water Lily, Chief Thumper and the Dream Catcher” there was an important question… That question was “who would spin the Dream Catcher first” in order to go into an adventure? The question was never answered until now. Chief Thumper was very sad and very very lonely because he loved Princess Water Lily very much. I want to share their story of what happened next…right here…right now…soon to be an adventure series e-book so their “love story” and “adventures” can be recorded for all time. Here is their story: Chief Thumper was alone now in his bunny hutch in The Hoop House by a waterfall where The Dream Catcher hangs. Every night when he would go to sleep, his heart was very sad at the loss of Princess Water Lily. One night as … Continue reading

The Clock of Seasons turns to Spring…

The Clock of Seasons turns to Spring…

A Special Personal Note from Gabrielle… We are about to leave the Season of Winter as we move on The Clock of Seasons™ into Spring. I have always felt that the Four Seasons represent our lives in so many ways. Here is why… Spring is the season of birth, renewal, regeneration and much more having to do with “awakening to life” all around us. A time in the garden to plant new seeds… A time for baby birds, chickens, ducks and animals of all sorts to be born… It is a time when grass begins to grow, buds appear on plants and trees, and leaves begin to slowly unfold. The earth blossoms fresh and new with spring rain and more sunlight. Life springs forth in resurrection from the winter rest of death. “Do You Hear the Song” of Sweet Spring? Spring is the Season of the Sunrise of Life. Summer is the season of nurturing, observing, and the enjoying of life that has come from ascending out of spring time. The Summer Sun is now climbing into the sky to reach mid-day. Summer time continues on… growing up gardens, animals, and surroundings into triumphant maturity. All is bathed in warm sunshine, raindrops, and long hazy, … Continue reading

The Grand Finale of a Winter Play…

The Grand Finale of a Winter Play…

The Grand Finale  A Winter Day Mr. Sun’s Song Part I NARRATOR:  Next morning as the new light came and children winged towards play again… The Snowman wasn’t there today…his fragile frame had slipped away. The children in the houses awaken.  Mr. Sun comes up and it is the next morning in this small winter town. Mr. Sun’s Song Part II Mr. Sun’s rays are very bright and warm and the children slept and Snowman wept for he was melting fast. The words he spoke just yesterday, would surely be his last…for Mr. Sun was shining bright on Old Jack Frost and Winter White. (The doors open to the houses and the children come running out)  Mr. Sun’s Song Part III NARRATOR:  When the children ran outside, they flew once more to see The Snowman and be his friend. But, the day was so hot that The Snowman was not…except for a puddle, again. A puddle left in winter snow was all that there was left to show…where love had been in all their heart’s only yesterday. (Very sadly) The Children sing “The Second Song of the Children” After the song is sung, suddenly from up in the sky The Snowman waves … Continue reading

Winter Time…More Play Time…

“Do You Have Time To Be My Friend?” A Winter Play cont’d Act II (A Winter Day in a small town) NARRATOR:  Up at dawn…early morn…waiting for the Sun…to warm the day so they can play in the Wonderland of Snow. Breakfast steaming…eating…scheming…all their plans to make.  Not much time till they could fly out onto the lake. Children have awakened and are finishing their steamy breakfast that they are eating at the kitchen table. Mr. Sun has already begun to “rise and shine” into the sky. Hear Mr. Sun’s Song here: Mr. Sun is still climbing further into the sky. Children are dressed warmly to go outside.   They come out of the doors to greet Mr. Sun and the new day of winter play. Winter White and Old Jack Frost come merrily drifting around the freshly fallen snow. Mr. Sun sings Mr. Sun’s Song Part I. Hear Mr. Sun’s Song Part I here: The children run to make a Snowman and do what Mr. Sun has instructed in his song (for the children to build their Snowman before his rays would melt the snow). NARRATOR:  Dressing warmly…toasty only till they went outside.  Winter White and Old Jack Frost curtly … Continue reading
