Who Is the Divine Mother

aka

 “The Maha Choh An”

Divine Mother is Mother God. Divine Mother is the same as Father God, often called Almighty Mother-Father God. They are one and the same.

Mother God births the Creation.

Divine Mother is coming out at this time in the history of our planet because Her qualities are so desperately needed here to unite the people and, as She looks at it, to unite Her children.

The qualities of Mother God — love, nourishment, nurturing, compassion, creativity, the ability to unify — are emerging now as Divine Mother comes forth to embrace Her family and to bring us together again.

This is who Divine Mother is.

She is making Herself known at this time on earth because we need Her.

Her most dear desire is to have a personal relationship with each one of us.

Whatever your spiritual tradition, you are welcome here. We acknowledge and honor Divine Mother in each tradition. Putting your attention on Mother God activates Her presence for healing and personal guidance. It unites our world family, regardless of cultural or religious differences …

“The Maha Choh An”

Look up my child I’m here …

the darkness cannot pierce your joy with fear …

“The Maha Choh An”

“Maha” means “Great” …

“Choh” means “Wisdom” …

“An” is the name of the Mother …

“Great Wise Mother”.

The Maha Choh An invites you to listen to this music below as you continue reading:

Write on our minds and hearts through freewill being given to the “Maha Choh An” so we can live in our childlike hearts without worry or fear always in a place of trust.  It is then that we become the Power Child instead of the Pain Body Child.

Paramahansa Yogananda

The Mistress of the universe who twinkles in the stars, whose life-throb is in every blade of grass, is the One you must find. That is the most important thing in this world.

You must seek the Beloved in the temple of silence.

When your heart again and again, with unquenchable devotion and attention, cries to the Divine Mother, then you will find Her.

There is one portion of Being that is hidden–space beyond the universe, where nothing exists but pure wisdom … That is the Father aspect of the “Maha Choh An”.

And all nature is the Mother aspect, because therein we find beauty, gentleness, tenderness and kindness.

The flowers, the birds, the beauties of trees and rivers, all speak of the Mother aspect of “Maha Choh An”–the creative, artistic instinct of Her.

We smile when we think of the Mother, with her diamonds of stars and Milky Way, Her flowery perfumes, Her laughter of flowing waters, and all Her beauties, seen in creation.

When we look at the fruitful land, at all the growing things, at the love of all creatures for their young, we feel a tenderness rise within us; we can see and feel the motherly instinct of Her.

And if Nature’s ways seem cruel and inexplicable at times (in India the Mother, in such moods, is known as Kali), why, so do the mother’s methods of protection and discipline seem to the young child.

As you sit in a dim and quiet forest, or stand against blue sky on a mountain top, or walk on white sand by the sparkling ocean, you cannot help but feel a tenderness within you. That is your reaction to the Mother aspect of the “Maha Choh An”.

But if you close your eyes and visualize vast space you will be enthralled by infinity, and you will sense the vibration of pure wisdom–naught else but wisdom. That is the Father aspect of the “Maha Choh An”, the limitless sphere where there is no creation, no stars nor planets, but only the formless power of wisdom.

That is the “Maha Choh An” as Father.

Therefore, the “Maha Choh An” has the energy of both a father and a mother.

What Happens When You Die?

The “Maha Cho An” ministers to every person on earth as we enter this world and as we exit it. At the moment of that birth, She is present to breathe the breath of life into the body and to ignite the threefold flame that is lowered into manifestation in the secret chamber of the heart.

The “Maha Choh An” also attends at the transition called death, when She comes to withdraw the flame of life and to withdraw the holy breath. The flame, or divine spark, returns to the Holy Christ Child Self, and the soul, clothed in the etheric body, also returns to the level of the Holy Christ Child Self.

Similarly, She will minister to you at every crossroad in life, if you will but pause for a moment when making decisions, think of the Holy Spirit and simply say the mantra,

“Come, Holy Spirit, enlighten me.”

“The Maha Choh An”

The “Maha Choh An” is the head, or hierarch, of the seven Chohans of the rays.

Her name means “the Great Mother of Wisdom,” which is an office in the hierarchy of the Great White Sisterhood/Brotherhood.

She embodies the white light of the seven rays and teaches the balance and integration of these rays through the eighth ray.

She also teaches that true love carries every other virtue and every other point of Self-mastery.

The “Maha Choh An” is a representative of the Holy Spirit to earth and Her evolutions.

She initiates souls in the secret chamber of the heart and helps them prepare to receive all nine gifts of the Holy Spirit:

Wisdom, Knowledge, Faith, Healing, Miracles, Prophecy, Discernment of Spirits, Speaking in Tongues and Interpretation of Tongues.

Because of Her pledge to all mankind to keep the flame until they are able, She is sometimes called the “Keeper of the Flame.”

Here are some further profiles of the personality in reality of the “Maha Choh An”:

Noble, Greathearted, Queenly, Patient, Long-Enduring, Expert in Adversity, a Mother of Ranging Mind, Mother Improviser, Grand Mother of Invention, the Great Tactician, the Canniest of Mother’s, Mother of Land Ways and Sea Ways, Mother of Subtle Ways and Straight.

We catch another glimpse of the person of the “Maha Choh An” through Her work in the nineteenth century with the Masters M. and K.H. That’s El Morya and Koot Hoomi.

These Masters were among those who sponsored the Theosophical Society, founded in 1875. At that time these Masters were high adepts and in embodiment. The “Maha Choh An” was the Teacher of El Morya and Kuthumi.

In one of his letters Kuthumi referred to the Mother as “the implacable Choh An.”

(Implacable means “not capable of being appeased, pacified or mitigated; unalterable.”)

Koot Hoomi also remarked that the “Maha Choh An” usually frowned.

On one occasion K.H. found himself in a situation of dire necessity.

The “Maha Choh An” came to his rescue “with Her eye twinkling in quite an unusual manner.”

K.H. wrote that this led him “to hope for a relaxation of severity ‘one of these days.’

Madame Blavatsky said that the “Maha Choh An” is as stern and impassionate as Death itself.”

It was also added to Madame Blavatsky’s comment that the “Maha Choh An” is unmoved by the human consciousness.

She is uncompromising.

She compels those who would be Her children to rise to Her level rather than expect Her to stoop to theirs.

Remember that when you approach Her, it is because the “Maha Choh An” has such great love that She exacts so great a child.

She knows that when She gives that love, it is a great gift.

She does not give it to those who are not worthy or to those who trifle with Her affection.

The Ascended Master Paul the Venetian tells of an encounter he had with the “Maha Choh An”:

“Now, you know, when the “Maha Choh An” speaks, one does not refuse.

Have you ever gazed upon the eyes of the Mother “Maha Choh An”?

Even in heaven, in our ascended state, I once said to Her, “I would like once again to take in my hand an earthly brush and palette and paint the beauty of your face.”

And do you know, precious ones, that the Mother “Maha Choh An” never answered me.

She gave me a look that almost froze me in my tracks. And I never mentioned it again.”

The “Maha Choh An” says that when you want to make progress on the spiritual path, you need to have a certain amount of sternness.

So don’t look at people who are stern and serious and try to cajole them into being less serious.

She teaches that human sympathy, or agreement with the human consciousness, as opposed to true compassion, is a perversion of the flame of the Holy Spirit and She will have none of it.

She says, “There is no other way to cut the tie with the human consciousness than to cut it!

And it must be cut by a mighty sword, the sword that is sharp, two-edged and is the dividing of the way.

There is no way that you can retain the companionship of the human consciousness and still receive the Holy Spirit!”

The “Maha Choh An” as Teacher

The “Maha Choh An” also fills the role of Teacher.

She is deferred to as the Supreme Teacher of our Souls.

She is the one sent to us to teach us.

She teaches us the Divine-like qualities of Jesus and the Buddha-like qualities of Gautama.

She tutors our child-like souls to enter into a direct relationship with Her, the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is the Supreme Teacher.

Remember, Jesus said the Comforter “shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

Just remember, if She is the Supreme Teacher and we have not established a right relationship with Her then we are sitting in the very hall of ignorance.

How many times I’ve thought to myself, if I hadn’t been ignorant, I wouldn’t have done such and such.

It’s ridiculous. We let ourselves remain in ignorance and so we make wrong choices, we take the wrong road, we make the wrong decision.

So if She is the Supreme Teacher, we want Her.

And if we really want to be enlightened, we’ll be glad to strip ourselves of what stands in the way.

When we have submitted ourselves to the disciplines of at least three of the Seven Chohans of the Rays, then the Divine Mother “Maha Choh An” will review our entire life record and determine whether She will take us on directly as Her chelas in a true Mother-Child relationship.

If we qualify, then the “Maha Choh An” will say to us …

“I shall give you the same training I gave to the Seven Chohans.”

She’s ready to do that if you are ready.

“I shall not indulge you and I shall not give you any crowns that you have not earned.”

Although She may be stern with our lesser self, the “Maha Choh An”, as representative of the Holy Spirit, is a personal Comforter to each of us.

In Her role as Comforter, the “Maha Choh An” walks and talks with us so that we may be Her instruments.

In a dictation She once said:

“I desire to approach very close to your heart.

I am to you as the most personal friend.”

“Talk to me, then, and hold my hand.

I have need of friends here below, for I have much to give and I require a consciousness, a heart, where I can place myself, and impart to other parts of life a smile, a tear of joy, a gift of love, a witness to the truth. Won’t you take me with you, then, in consciousness?

You might as well, for I am coming along anyway. “

Why should we want to get the Holy Spirit?

Because people are losing their souls.

Without the Holy Spirit, we can do nothing about it.

With the Holy Spirit, we can do something.

They do not know what is real and what is not real.

They are watching their family and friends and neighbors and countrymen become victims of incurable diseases, outrageous crimes, natural disasters and genocide.

And they do not know where to turn or what to do.

The only way we can help them is to become empowered by the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit working through us will comfort and enlighten and heal and inspire others.

The bottom line is this as far as I am concerned, if some people in the earth do not go all the way and become the living embodiment of the Holy Spirit, then literally millions of souls will be lost at the end of this age.

The “Maha Choh An” is at the head of the Elemental kingdom; and is the authority over manifestations in nature.

She draws and supplies the energy used in all nature and by mankind.

She is the magnet to draw that power from the Sun.

She directs the various forms of culture and civilizations through the minds of embodied individuals so as to unfold and develop according to the divine plan.

The “Maha Choh An” is the One Who gives the first breath to every new born child;

She also takes the last breath of every individual as one passes on.

The “Maha Choh An” has not had personal contact with chelas (students) through the ages, as She does now.

Her particular virtue is Comfort which She gives to mankind and all life on Earth.

Her symbol is the white dove.

The Dove represents the “Maha Choh An” who is the representative of the Holy Spirit.

Her banner is purple; upon it is the emblem of the white dove from which eminate “seven rays”.

Ivy which is a symbol of ever-lasting life, seems to be a favorite of Hers and much used by Her.

She usually wears a white robe.

Who Are the Ascended Masters – The Chohans of the Seven Rays
These particular ascended masters are called the Chohans of the Rays, which means Lords of the Rays.
Chohan is a Sanskrit term for lord, and lord is equivalent to law; hence the Chohan is the action of the law of the ray.
To be a Chohan on one of the seven rays means that this master defines the law on that ray;

The Divine Mother is the Eighth Ray
The “Maha Choh An”
Secret chamber of the heart

The eight ray is called the Ray of Integration, because Maha Choh An requires you to integrate the positive qualities of the first seven rays.
This means you must have transcended the perversions of the first seven rays, or they will pull you away from integrating all rays.
